Over the years, I have made some really incredible friends. I have nurse friends, entrepreneur friends, stay at home mom friends, service member and their spouse friends, teacher friends, waitress friends, business friends…you get the point. From each of my friends I carry something valuable. Lessons in life, on life, and about life. Some of my best friends have taught me the most valuable lessons that are applied to my everyday life. I am grateful for my amazing friends and I am even grateful for the friendships that for one reason or another, just didn’t work out, without all of them, I just wouldn’t be me.
That being said, there seems to be one trend amongst my friends, which is snickerdoodles. I didn’t realize that the majority of my friends really love these cookies until I was living in San Diego. It’s really weird, because I don’t like snickerdoodles. I’ll eat them if I’m hungry and want a cookie and that’s what we have, but if it was between snickerdoodles and prunes, I’d probably pick the prune.
To thank all of my friends…Snickerdoodle cookie cupcakes
I ate one and they are pretty darn good. My youngest child devoured it so I’m guessing she REALLY loved it. My husband asked me, “How am I supposed to eat this?” I told him to be creative.
I wish I could send these to my friends. I would in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I don’t think they would travel well, so next time I see you, remind me and I’ll make some for you. I hope you all know how much I love you, even though I’m far away.
