In my daily life I hear no less than 20 acronyms. My husband talks to me in acronyms. My kids make up acronyms. I have even been known to use them on occasion, especially talking to people who have no idea what I’m talking about, but they nod like they agree with me.
Here’s the deal. I get confused easily. I took my car to the local dealership because the car alarm wouldn’t stop going off and I was getting frustrated with the whole situation. The lady told me she wasn’t sure if the CPO would fix the alarm. I sat there in awe.
“Why do we need a CPO to fix the car?”
“That is the only way it is covered under warranty.”
My brain was racing. Either I’m dense or she told me a Chief needs to come down and fix my car.
“Okay, how long is it going to take to get someone down here?”
“We have people here to fix it already. I just need the paperwork.”
“Right, I’m confused.”
You guessed it…I’m dense.
Thanks to the enormous stress the car dealership caused me (there was more to the story, but we won’t get into it here). I got home and decided to try Smitten Kitchen’s Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe or…Triple C Recipe.
I have to admit, I was skeptical. I really love the NM Cookies, I think the espresso powder gives it just a little extra WOW. And this just seemed like such a plain cookie. I didn’t have any walnuts or pecans on hand, but of course I have Macadamia nuts kickin’ around. So I used those.
The end result was like, a chocolate covered macadamia nut cookie. Fabulous! Added bonus, they were soft, chewy and gooey. Perfect.
Next time you need a cookie, try these CCC’s and then let me know what you think via your CCC.
